The long version
Bryan Villarin is a photographer, musician and blogger out of Los Angeles, California1. He happens to be decent with computers and most things electronic.
Photography
Outside of work and school, Bryan is a budding photographer.
He’ll go almost anywhere his friends will accompany him for photowalking and street photography antics, but it’s usually around Downtown Los Angeles2.
Bryan is also fond of concert photography. His growing portfolio includes several bands: Finch, Rx Bandits, Portugal, The Man, El Ten Eleven, Five Mile Town, and The Breakup.
There’s a wedding under his belt, along with a few portrait sessions.

Music
Bryan was forced to play viola in second grade for four years. After a gap, he picked up the electric guitar at 17-years-old, mostly self-taught with guitar tabs from various bands. From 2005-2008, he played with Phantom Scream.
When his guitar was stolen, he switched to bass guitar3. He currently rocks out with the band, The Scarlet Paradigm.
Technology
When Bryan finally got a Windows 98-based computer, he was hooked online. After a couple years, and many attempts streamlining his Packard Bell computer, he gave up on it. With the help of Tom’s Hardware Guide, he built his first computer.
That’s how Bryan got his part-time job at Public Counsel.
On the internets, Bryan started out creating a small Windows XP help website by hand4. Then, he had his own [now defunct] forums.
Now, Bryan writes and posts photos at All Narfed Up, sharing random bits of knowledge.
